The Technology Strategy Board needed to relocate from its existing premises as part of a major re-organisation of the Research Councils UK. Middle Roslin Cells - Roslin, Edinburgh:  cGMP Cleanroom

Within the Roslin Institute site there was a small Cleanroom suite that had become non-compliant with any current cGMP standards. The brief was to replace this with a fully compliant new facility in the same area as the original suite. Burness was looking for a prestigious office site in Glasgow and was attracted to the striking Aurora Building that had been erected in Bothwell Street. Fine wines are not just for drinking but are also held as an investment. Wines are bought young stored until mature on behalf of private clients. Berry Bros & Rudds brief was to build an overground wine cellar in Basingstoke where wine cellar conditions could be replicated so that millions of their clients wine bottles could be stored in carefully controlled environmental conditions.... more
