Haemonetics (Warehouse)

Haemonetics is a global leader in blood processing technology, providing solutions for blood supply chain management.

Background to the project

At the end of a lease period for off site warehouse facilities, Haemonetics required a build partner to work in partnership with their architects on the development of a new on-site warehouse. Bringing the warehouse in house delivered considerable cost savings and efficiencies.

Scope of the project

Following a tender process T-SQUARED were commissioned to carry out the build of a large scale extension project, to include on site warehouse facilities and additional office space. The extension had to be accommodated within a challenging layout of existing site buildings and required close liaison with Planning to ensure the protection of mature trees on the site boundary.

The scope of work included:

• Design of extension in conjunction with the Client’s Architects
• Site excavation for new buildings and car park
• Build of warehouse, loading bay, and air conditioned office space

Timescales

The project was completed over an agreed period of XX months to ensure minimum disruption to production and distribution.
