Vascutek

Vascutek is a global supplier to the healthcare industry, designing and manufacturing products to address the needs of vascular and cardiovascular surgeons throughout the world.

Background to the Project

Following a sustained period of growth, Vascutek required an additional production building on site at their purpose built facility in Inchinnan. Although the land was already part of the site, it represented a challenge to the project as it sat on the alluvial plain next to the River Clyde foundations.

Scope of the project

Following a successful tender bid, T-SQUARED were appointed the design and build contract to build and fit out production building No.4 on the site.

The scope of work included:

• Excavation works on existing site to prepare the land for build
• Design and build of a two floor building, with mezzanine plantroom above
• Design and build of additional on site car parking facilities
• Design and fit out of high tech Cleanrooms and Controlled Spaces
• Build of a temporary Cleanroom within the existing warehouse building, in order to provide extra production resource during build

Timescales

The project was completed in January 2008, 3 months ahead of schedule.
