Biological agents have been categorised by the ACDP (Advisory Committee for Dangerous Pathogens) into four hazard groups, HG1 being the lowest risk, HG4 being the highest.
Working with agents in these groups requires an appropriate containment level built to prevent or control the exposure of biological agents to persons and the environment. For example, containment level 3 (CL3) might be appropriate for working with HG3 agents. T-SQUARED has carried out numerous highly specialised containment level 3 & 4 projects for the most highly respected facilities in the world. All projects have been completed in accordance with ACDP regulations.
Our successful projects have involved a combination of the following factors:
T-SQUARED has delivered multiple biocontainment containment facilities in live operational areas where complete project integration has been key to the success of the project. Our knowledge of working in such environments is second to none. Being aware of the specific security challenges, document handling procedures and employment criteria is just as important to the success of the project as the demolition, build or refurbishment itself.
